Keel Boat Services Garstang is part of the wider Keel Boat Services family, established in 2018 at Tattenhall Marina. Our management team — Karl Heywood, Simon Peek, and Simon Burgess — brings decades of hands-on experience across all aspects of canal boat repair, maintenance, and refurbishment.

We work alongside a skilled team and a broad network of specialist contacts, covering everything from welding and engine overhauls to joinery, fit-outs, and sign-writing. Our trade accounts with major suppliers mean shorter lead times and competitive prices for our customers.

Meet the Team

We took our narrowboat to Keel Boat Services after having a quote from another marina not too far away. Keel came in at half the cost. The work, which was quite extensive, was completed before time and to cost. The quality of the workmanship was excellent - nothing was too much trouble.
